I make better companies

For

  • Because they benefit from companies that are quick to deliver products and services which accurately reflect their feedback and needs.

  • Because they gain fulfilment in their work from companies that give them a real vision and set of values, and trust, autonomy, and accountability to act on their knowledge of the customer.

  • Because they can trust their company to run without them through an uncomplicated business model; built to be scalable, whilst continuously centering all company effort around delivery to their customer.

  • Because they invest in companies that perform more consistently with simple, scalable business models that do not waste resources on activities removed from the customer.

WHy am i different?

There’s a lot that just doesn’t work in traditional hierarchical companies…

My approach to progressive organisational design considers:

I understand the difficulty of companies growing too complex. Decision-making chains far removed from the customer and slow to respond to customer needs. Companies where the customer is not the focus.

I do progressive organisational design because I believe in a better form of business.

I believe an organisation should be structured fully around its customer and that the majority of staff and decision-making should be at the shortest possible distance to the customer. I focus on enabling a company to have superior adaptability by being built on trust, autonomy, and simplicity.

I put technology solutions last and people solutions first. Often companies expend resources needlessly to plaster over a large wound of missing fundamentals and extensive human and cultural issues that have been ignored. ERP implementation failure rates alone can exceed 75%.

I offer personalised problem-solving to an organisation and partner with staff closest to the customer to provide solutions. I do not believe standard consultancy copy-paste templates offer sustainable value to companies, and often the customer of external consultants is far removed from an organisation’s true customer. Instead, I bring a strong demonstration of experience in solving complex problems, and a significant repository of knowledge of how companies have succeeded and failed in both progressive design and traditional design.

My methodology for progressive organisation design covers seven areas which form the structure and way of working for how an organisation delivers to its customers. If an organisation has not considered these areas it will cause adverse effects in the delivery of its product or service to its core customer no matter the quality of this product or service.

A bit about me

I design start-ups for Kent University, consult growing SMEs, and solve problems in a 1000+ employee organisation as a Senior Operational Research Analyst.

After my Biomedical Sciences BSc and Management Science MSc, I began an internship for a government-owned company which created a full-time role for me to solve problems in their complex organisation.

In addition to this, I hold a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice and a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Professional Consulting and am a graduate of ‘Understanding & Designing Progressive Organisational Structures’. A course run by Corporate Rebels.

With Corporate Rebels, I studied progressive organisational design and learned from a number of highly successful and unique companies from across the globe.

In my spare time, you can find me playing petanque, bouldering, and listening to Critical Role.

Let’s Begin.
